In Korca there is a co existence of two religious faiths: orthodox faith and the Muslim one, whereas the catholic faith is not very considerable here. Also, in Korca there exists even other religious faiths of Christianity. Korca is considered the symbol of understanding and inter religious co existence where Muslims and orthodox live in harmony. Among orthodox a part of believers are of Vlachos origins, natives, or people who have come since a long time ago from the centers like Voskopoja or other villages around.
