It is spoken the Albanian language with its dialectical connotations. This dialect is similar with that of Pogradec due to their neighborliness. A great part of population speaks Greek due to the emigration and the closeness to Greece and the Vlachos speak their own characteristic language which is a dialect of the Romanian language. If the Albanian language is unknown for you then besides the Greek you can communicate in English or Italian because a great part and especially the youngsters speak both these languages.
