Participation: The project involved 140 citizens, notably 22 participants from the city of Erseke (Albania), 10 participants from the city of Alsonemedi (Hungary) 7 participants from the city of Xghajra (Malta ), 5 participants from the city of Pelplin 96 participants from the city of Colletorto ( Italy ).

Short description:
Municipality of Erseke in collaboration with ACSCDCI is working for the development of an international community in Erseke, towards the construction of a European citizenship identity of the town. In this framework a newly partnership set up has been successfully established with Municipality of Colletorto and the Twinning Committee “Colletorto in Europe”, an Italian organization with location in Colletorto, region of Molise. As a result of our establishment of twinning bilateral agreement with CGCE and in collaboration with other partners Xghajra Local Council – Malta, ASSOCIATION OF PELPLIN’S HERITAGE – POLAND, The Municipality of Alsonemedi -Hungary, Twinning committee of Saint-Yrieix sur Charente – France on October October 26th-30th 2013 we organized a European citizenship meeting platform under the topic “Let’s Celebrate!” that took place in Colletorto, region of Molise, Italy.
The Municipality of Colletorto during the European Year of Citizenship has been assigned the European Diploma for the efforts made to promote the European citizenship values the activity under the topic “Let’s Celebrate!” among foreseen activities, through an official event it was celebrated the Authority’s Award received by the Council of Europe as well was rejoiced the twinning contacts between the European partners involved in the project.
The Albanian delegation (22 participants) from the Municipality of Erseke was one of the protagonists during the ceremony of celebration for the European Diploma, being an active partner of the hosting municipality.
The project that was held in Colletorto involved the local population as well as delegations coming from all the EU partners with which the municipality has signed a twinning agreement. Moreover, representatives from other civil organisations and municipalities already partners for future projects were invited.
